Why you shouldn't ever drink water
But marketing people say this kind of stuff. And it can be dangerous, not only to your health, but to your wallet. Because the idea is to convince you that something that is very basic to life is bad, and instead you should buy their product.
Unfortunately, "drink a glass of water, eat an apple" isn't exactly the most thrilling marketing strategy. And no one will repost that to their Facebook page. And human nature being what it is, most of us like drama, screaming headlines, that sort of thing. Very few of us like to read the fine print, or do the homework.
But if you don't read the fine print, or do the homework, what you accept from the marketing people can endanger you. And at the very least, take away a lot of your money, in exchange for practically nothing.
A few years ago, people were saying that they shouldn't eat bread. Bread. A staple of human existence for over 10,000 years. So the next time you see something that can't possibly be true, it probably isn't. It's just marketing. Go eat an apple, have a slice of bread, and drink a glass of water. Dull, but true.
